Description

Seat Ibiza III The Seat Ibiza III is the third generation of the Ibiza and was produced by Seat. Like the Polo 9N and the Škoda Fabia I, it is based on the platform PQ24/A04 of the parent company Volkswagen, but is a little bigger and more designed for sportiness. The Fabia came on the market before the Polo 9N; its platform was designed by Škoda as a "development service provider" for Volkswagen. The Ibiza, like the Polo, is available as a three- and five-door, the Škoda Fabia only as a five-door. The design for the Seat Ibiza III (internal name "6L") comes from the hand of Walter Maria de Silva. The 2.0-liter engine with 85 kW (115 hp) was not available in Germany. It existed, for example, in Switzerland and the Netherlands, but production was discontinued in mid-2004.
