Trump Regret Reaches All Time High

MAGA podcaster and former Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan took his clearest shot at President Donald Trump yet in a Thursday X post implying the president may not be mentally up for his position. Ryan interviewed the president on his podcast in 2024, but his support appeared to sour in recent months, specifically over the Department of Justice’s release of files related to convicted child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein. But he's just emblematic of A larger problem, recent CNN polling, conducted by SSRS, shows Trump’s approval rating fell 11 points from last year — from 47 percent to 36 percent. Two other recent polls — one from The Washington Post/ABC/Ipsos and another from NPR/PBS/Marist Poll — found Trump’s approval rating down 6 points from shortly after taking office. Both polls found 39 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the presidency, down from 45 percent shortly after he took office. Just 32% of Americans now say that Trump has had the right priorities, while 68% say he hasn’t paid enough attention to the country’s most important problems. Some of the steepest declines include a 19-point drop in approval among Latino Americans and an 18-point drop among Americans younger than 45.
