This start up transforms food waste into valuable materials

Food waste contains valuable chemical building blocks, says Hyfé, and it’s working to rescue and refine them, so they can be used as new ingredients. The start-up's reactor pulls fruit and vegetable #waste apart, refining peel and pulp into bioactive compounds, fibres and dextrose, which can be used in a range of new products, including biofuels, pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs.
