I love having these guys about as they are nature's insecticide for critters that might eat my plants. She's decided to spin her webs in a fairly exposed position and I think some enterprising bird will find her before too long. You never know though - she might stick around for ages. Yes, it's a girl. The males of this species are tiny and she's bigger than any boy. These days "Christopher" is probably gender-neutral. If there can be a boy named Sue, we can have a girl called Christopher Cross.
