This helps open the hips, improve sacroiliac joint mobility, increase synovial fluid, and activate the glutes while reducing stress on the low back. When you restore movement in the hips, you take pressure off the spine, which can help prevent and relieve back pain, improve flexibility, and reduce your risk of injury. Do this before bed and you’ll notice how much easier it feels to move when you wake up.
