Ecorse apartment residents react to eviction warning

Residents at Renaissance Estates in Ecorse are speaking out after management posted notices on their doors warning tenants about large crowds, heavy foot traffic and late-night gatherings -- and threatening eviction for those who don’t comply. The letter, confirmed as authentic by the property manager through an Ecorse police officer, reads in part: “This serves as a notice and final warning regarding large crowds and high traffic at your unit.” It also includes the lines: “Do not bring the club back to your unit!
