Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after the blast, while Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) declared an emergency across the federal capital. Multiple injured individuals were reported to be present at the site of the incident. Emergency measures were also imposed at major hospitals in Islamabad, including Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Polyclinic Hospital, and CDA Hospital.
