Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Makhan (Butter) unsalted 200g
-Sugar powdered ¾ Cup
-Anda (Egg) 1 (room temperature)
-Vanilla essence 1 & ½ tsp
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ½ Cups
-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp
-Baking powder ½ tsp
-Fruit jam ½ Cup or as required
-Icing sugar
Directions:
-In a bowl,add butter & let it rest at room temperature until soft.
-Add sugar & beat well until creamy.
-Add egg,vanilla essence & beat well.
-Place a sieve on the bowl,add all-purpose flour,pink salt,baking powder,sift together & mix until dough is formed.
-Transfer the dough to a flat surface lined with cling film & knead until smooth dough is formed.
-Wrap in cling film & refrigerate for 20 minutes.
-Takeout dough from refrigerator,remove cling film,dust dry flour & roll out with the help of rolling pin.
-Coat cookie cutter in all-purpose flour,cut out 2-inches heart shape cookies from the dough.
-Cut out center on half of the cookies with the help of a small heart shape cookie cutter.
-Transfer cookies on a baking tray lined with butter paper.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes (on lower grill).
-Take out from oven & let them cool completely.
-In a bowl,add fruit jam,whisk well & transfer to a piping bag.
-Sprinkle icing sugar on hollow heart cookies.
-On whole heart cookies,add fruit jam in the center & top with cutout heart cookies (makes 25-26).
