Many believers, like me in my early years, experience glimpses of God's reality amid struggles with sin, distance, and unfulfilled promises. We muddle through, relying on religious pretense, future hopes, or various ministries that fall short biblically and practically. The key is realizing that at salvation, only our spirit is recreated—joined to Christ, possessing His righteousness, joy, peace, and victory fully. Our soul (mind, will, emotions) and body remain unchanged, leading to the internal conflict described in Romans 7. Victory comes not from striving but from renewing the mind through God's Word, acknowledging and abiding in what we already have in the spirit. Daily practices like awakening to righteousness, putting on the new man, and thanksgiving allow the Holy Spirit to manifest these truths experientially. This transforms begging into receiving, producing a life of holiness and power as the New Testament promises. It is already done—believe it, live it.
