When we reached Concordia - the throne of mountain gods where K2 reveals itself - we were unlucky. The first day, clouds covered everything. On the second day, after much patience, K2 finally showed itself to us! 💪 Our Toughest Challenge: The 6-7 hour walk on Baltoro Glacier to Concordia was the most difficult section of our entire trek. Every step was a test of willpower. This “baal tod” (backbreaking) glacier crossing tested our physical and mental limits. 🏕️ Ali Camp Experience: At 5,000 meters, Ali Camp is one of the most dangerous campsites on this trek. We slept among rocks, on top of the glacier, surrounded by some of the world’s highest peaks.
