The military’s media wing said the operations were conducted on January 29 in different areas of the province. In the first operation, security forces carried out a targeted raid in the outskirts of Harnai district following credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged a terrorist hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, 30 terrorists backed by Indian proxies were neutralized, ISPR said. According to the statement, the militants belonged to the groups Fitna-ul-Khawarij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan. A large cache of weapons and explosive materials was recovered from the site. The recovered explosives were destroyed on the spot to prevent further use.
