Vibrations Trigger Aggressive Response from Hornets

I brought an action camera close to a Yellow-vented hornet(Vespa analis) nest. When I placed the action camera, I accidentally caused vibrations. At that moment, the hornets all took off at once and attacked the camera. Hornets react strongly to vibrations and have a habit of attacking black objects. This behavior is a defensive instinct to protect their nest when threatened by bears or other predators.
