“In May alone, our team had to attend to 116 war wounded, all of them a result of drone strikes,” shares Ahmed Abd-elrahman, our Director of Operations who recently visisted our teams in #Chad. Since early May 2026, drone strikes around Tiné, Chad — attributed to one of Sudan’s warring parties, the Rapid Support Forces — have intensified. Our teams working near the border with Sudan are responding to influxes of patients including an increasing number of women and children. Residents report that strikes now occur almost daily, with up to five or six incidents on some days.
