Description
'50s Formula 1 cars are hard enough to handle in the dry, but when things get slippery, it takes a very brave driver to push for a win. The 2025 Richmond & Gordon Trophies is a race for the glorious 2.5-litre Grand Prix cars from 1952-1960, and the 2025 edition was indeed very wet. The race had to be started behind the Jaguar E-type safety car for 2 laps before the action could begin.
The weather didn't really brighten up at all, so we're in a full wet-weather battle to the line. The Coopers and BRMs were the cars with the best grip and the win would be fought between them.
