Their Story Will Warm Your Heart 💛

I met Daphne and her five year old dog Olive in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Some dogs just walk by and instantly make you stop. That was Olive. I had no clue what type of mix she was - but oh boy, was she beautiful. Olive came into Daphne’s life at seven weeks old. A tiny foster pup who marched right up and chewed on her shoelaces on day one. Daphne said that was the moment she knew. This sassy little creature had chosen her. Daphne told me Olive is her little super mix. She’s not sure of the breed mix, but she loves every bit of her. Olive helped her through the toughest parts of the last few years. Daphne said having Olive gave her structure, brought life back into her home and became her constant companion. Her buddy. Her best friend. Even if it sounds cliché, you could hear how true it was when she said it. She told me Olive is quirky, feisty, cuddly and incredibly expressive. She loves squeaky toys, butt scratches, peanut butter treats - and she adores Daphne (even when she refuses to sit, stay or pose for more than half a second).
