📌 RECIPE AND INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients for the casserole:
Broccoli — 1/2 head
Cauliflower — 1/2 head
Onion — 1
Carrots — 2
Garlic — 1 clove
Yellow bell pepper — 1
Red bell pepper — 1
Cheddar cheese — 100 g
Butter — 35 g + 1 tbsp
Olive oil — 1 tbsp
Flour — 2 tbsp
Milk — 500 ml
Cream cheese — 2 tbsp
Panko breadcrumbs
Salt and black pepper
Preparation:
Boil the broccoli and cauliflower for 4 minutes in hot water so the vegetables stay slightly crispy.
Sauté the onion, carrots, garlic, and bell peppers until golden brown.
For the sauce, melt the butter, add the flour, and gradually pour in the milk while stirring constantly. Add the cream cheese and half of the cheddar cheese.
Place the vegetables into a baking dish, pour over the creamy sauce, and top with the remaining cheese and Panko breadcrumbs.
Bake for 30–35 minutes at 180°C (350°F) until golden brown.
Salad:
Cabbage — 300 g
Carrot — 1
Cherry tomatoes
Cucumber — 1
Mayonnaise — 1 tbsp
Greek yogurt or sour cream — 1 tsp
Mustard — 1 tsp
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt, pepper, parsley
