Roaring Rapids POV Shanghai Disneyland Roaring Rapids at Shanghai Disneyland in Adventure Isle is one of the only rides at any Disney park in the world built entirely around an original storyline with no existing Disney IP attached to it. You get swept through the underground lair of Q'aráq, a massive animatronic crocodilian beast, before hitting a whirlpool and blasting through volcanic vents and steaming geysers on the way out. It gets overlooked constantly because of everything else in the park but it's genuinely one of the most unique things Disney has ever built.
