Huge rally defies Crisafulli's threats to ban Palestine freedom slogans

Around 4000 people answered the threat by state premier David Crisafulli to ban Palestine freedom slogans like "from the River to the Sea Palestine will be free" by rallying on February 9 in King George Square. The rally opposed both the visit by genocidal Israeli president Isaac Herzog and the Liberal National Party government's threats to clamp down on free speech. A protest against the state government moves will be held outside parliament on February 12 and another major rally will be held on February 15.
