Description

Prince Sultan Air Base, south of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, came under a ballistic missile and Shahed drone attack on 27 March, destroying an E-3G Senty AWACS radar plane on a taxiway and damaging several KC-135s on the ramp. A couple of the KC-135s were quickly repaired and were back on the flying schedule. Some received more significant damage... like this one! On 12 April, an Ohio Air National Guard KC-135R tail number 59-1444 landed at RAF Mildenhall COVERED in temporary patches as seen in the video recorded by @MarkLynham from the Mildenhall fence. I’m assuming the patches are aluminum speed tape! The aircraft is there to undergo repairs. I’m sure there is a new aircraft callsign going in the 781 Maintenance Forms once it’s repaired.  #aviation #avgeek #military #airforce #army #navy #usmc #pilot #pilotlife #flight #flying #fly #aircraft #airplane #plane #jet #airport #photo #photography #video #videoviral #viralvideos #lessonsfromthecockpit #podcast #show
