Learning how to BACKFLIP a BMX at 6 years old!

Learning how to backflip a bike... we started this journey back when Harley was 3!!! He had been watching @HarrySchofield backflip bikes at @mastersofdirt and he was inspired to be like Harry. He said he wanted to backflip when he was 5... and he did!!! He just didnt land it. So after a mammoth attempt by Harley to learn the backflip age 5 he gave the resi a go a number of times but after each attempt it would take months of hard work from him to undo bad habits that would appear. He started to twist in the air so much he did flip 180's!!! Sadly we had to tell him to stop doing any flips for a while as it got dangerous... he was ending up very close to the edges of the foam pits and in some cases hitting the edges. Fast forward 6 months and he was back at backflips... and this time he was keeping them straight. Was he ready for resi? #bmx #bmxtricks #backflip
