This video captures a maximum attempt dive in Dynamic No Fins (DNF) â 156 metres, my personal best. This wasnât a competition dive.It was a dive for the soul. For pure joy.
A mindful, intentional breath-hold where slowing down, acceptance, and soft power guided every movement. During the dive, I felt a deep connection to the water â and to my friend Rachel, who filmed my last maximum attempt in this very pool two years ago. Her presence was with me the whole way.
Dynamic No Fins is often seen as raw and demanding, but to me itâs also deeply meditative â a conversation between mind, body, and water.
â ïž Safety note:This dive was performed by a trained freediver with years of experience, proper preparation, and safety protocols in place. Please donât attempt breath-hold diving without education, supervision, and appropriate safety.
