But our team is trained to spot even the subtlest signs of distress, and they don’t let him get away. The clock is ticking, and there’s no second chance, only today. The rescue team moves fast, removing a thick bundle of fishing line from the seal’s neck. Their reward: watching him run free, no longer bound by plastic, heading back to the ocean to reclaim his life. It’s a hopeful ending, but only for now.
