Description
A Soyuz rocket carrying supplies bound for the ISS successfully lifted off from the Baikonour Cosmodrome over the weekend, however it appears that the spacecraft suffered a glitch shortly after launch. The launch went as planned, but the Progress cargo spacecraft suffered an antenna issue shortly after deploying from Soyuz rocket. One of the antennas that's used for automatic docking did not deploy, according to NASA.
"Troubleshooting will continue and if the antenna cannot be deployed, Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov will manually pilot the spacecraft through a backup system for rendezvous and docking at the space station." The cargo arrived to station this morning and was successfully docked to the orbiting laboratory manually despite the issues.
