Seattle raises sales taxes for 'transportation'...but it won't really help.

The Seattle City Council has decided to support Mayor Wilson's additional sales tax increase for 'transportation.' Few observers believe this additional tax revenue will fix anything, but at least the people get the chance to vote on it. When combined with the recent King County 'road' sales tax, this will help ensure Seattle has one of the highest local sales taxes in the nation. Good job to Socialist Mayor Wilson and her friends.
