The biggest scammer on YouTube is... YouTube!

How many parents and grandparents will be scammed out of their hard-earned cash this Christmas by ads like this which have been running for weeks on the platform -- despite being reported thousands of times? It seems that the biggest scammer on the platform is YouTube itself because by placing revenues ahead of the interests of its audience, they become complicit in the scams being perpetrated. Is this really good enough -- especially when we're talking about a platform that deletes countless legitimate videos or even entire channels on mere suspicion of scams and which regularly denies appeals without adequately checking the facts?
