The First 70 Minutes of LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight Legacy (PC/RTX 5080)

LEGO Batman: L'Héritage du Chevalier Noir ne sort officiellement que vendredi mais les détenteurs de l'édition Deluxe peuvent déjà y jouer avec quelques jours d'avance. À cette occasion donc, nous vous proposons une longue vidéo présentant toute l'introduction et le début du premier chapitre de ce nouveau titre mettant en scène le Chevalier Noir. Précisons que, si nous avons choisi de mettre en avant la version originale dans la vidéo qui suit, le jeu dispose d'une VF intégrale de bonne qualité. Un certain gros éditeur/constructeur américain devrait peut-être en prendre de la graine. On vous laisse également apprécier le très grand soin apporté aux textures, qui font plaisir à voir, ainsi qu'à la réalisation globale, très soignée, même si nous avons aussi pu constater quelques petits problèmes d'optimisation sur la version testée (courtes baisses de framerate dans une phase de gameplay, quelques micro-freezes lors de cinématiques ou au volant de la Batmobile dans Gotham). Pour le reste, les fans de la série Arkham seront ravis de voir que cet épisode en reprend une bonne partie de l'ADN (combats, infiltration, gadgets), ce qui ne surprendra personne puisque Rocksteady est intervenu dans le développement du jeu. Les amateurs de DC Comics peuvent donc être rassurés, après deux titres décevants (Gotham Knights et Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League), le héros de Bob Kane et Bill Finger revient très en forme sur PC, PS5 et Xbox Series X|S (et plus tard sur Switch 2). LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will officially be released in two days but those who have purchased the Deluxe Edition can already play the game. As we were sent a PC code yesterday, here is a long video showing the full introduction and the beginning of the first chapter of this new title focused on the Dark Knight. As you'll see, the game looks very good overall, with pretty detailed textures, but we have spotted a bunch of optimisation issues that will hopefully be addressed soon (some quick frame drops in one gameplay sequence and a few micro-freezes in some cutscenes or when driving the Batmobile in Gotham). As for the rest, fans of the Arkham series will be delighted to see that this installment retains much of the series’ signature style (combat, stealth, gadgets), which comes as no surprise given that Rocksteady was involved in the game’s development. DC Comics fans can rest assured: after two disappointing titles (Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League), Bob Kane and Bill Finger’s hero is making a strong comeback on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S (and later on Switch 2). #legobatmanlegacyofthedarkknight
