Let's Play Pillars of Eternity #243: Denying the Dream to Accept Memory

Since our fateful meeting with the elusive cipher known as Grieving Mother, we have slowly pieced together bits and pieces about her life. We knew that was once helped to deliver children and would use her powers to help shape the lives of the newborn. Lyrin and her have disagreed on numerous occasions, agreeing to disagree each time. Lyrin has given Grieving Mother the go-ahead to use her powers like that on someone just once during their many adventures and despite the good it did, Lyrin remains deeply conflcited about it. What Lyrin didn't know, however, is why Grieving Mother took that name. She at first thought that it was due to the anguish of the Hollowborn crisis and that is technically correct, but not the whole story. Now it's time for the gaps to be filled in at last.
