OULTON - RACE 1 - Club Race 2025 - TWINS - RACE 1

A brilliant race in unexpected dry conditions. The season long battle with Bennie (28,Blue R7) rages on, and this time the standard twins championship battle was with us. Blake Didwell (13, Blue SV650) and Calum Wren (3, Red/White SV650) are 1st and 2nd in the standard championship with all to play for, but found themselves within the usual tussle between myself and Louisa Bennie. Whilst we're not fighting for points (Louisa is in Next-Gen, I'm in Supertwin), we usually end up having a good race. 10 bikes ended up in the train, crossing the line within 4 seconds. I was thinking a lot during this race, only maing the overtakes that I knew wouldn't allow other riders to follow me through. After a couple of laps I decided I needed to be leading the pack, as I was rolling the throttle through some sections to avoid making lunges. Blake and Calum wanted myself and Louisa between them, and I wanted everyone behind me in case there were other Supertwins in the train.
