YUIMA NAKAZATO Fall 2026 Haute Couture Paris - Fashion Channel Yuima Nakazato presented his Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture collection, *Inferno*, at Paris Couture Week, exploring the relationship between transformation, performance, and the dialogue between couture and contemporary art. Inspired by Japanese theater and the symbolic power of costume changes, the collection featured modular layered designs based on the adaptable construction of the kimono. The presentation highlighted shifting forms through a small cast of models, revealing how garments could transform and evolve on stage. The central contrast between water and fire was expressed through recycled fabric panels, wave-like silhouettes, gold chain embroidery evoking flames, and sculptural details. Nakazato continued his exploration of innovative materials with ceramic chainmail, digitally developed body-molded tiles, and architectural bustier forms that transitioned through shades of blue, silver, gold, and red. Dramatic masks, sculptural headpieces, flowing printed fabrics, and bell-embellished creations completed a collection where craftsmanship, technology, and artistic expression merged into a unique vision of modern haute couture.
