Would you wake up at 5am for this!? 🤯 This is the famous Pico do Arieiro hike 🥾 you get to hike above a sea of clouds on the section known as the “Stairway to Heaven” and it was absolutely unreal! Here are a couple things to know before you go 👇🏼 🅿️ Parking is very limited and the lot filled up about 45 minutes before sunrise! 🥾 The hike can be a little hard to find when it’s dark out, so bring a headlamp and download the AllTrails prior to going 🚫 The full hike is not open currently which is a total bummer! It’s blocked off due to a fire that happened in 2024, but you can still watch sunrise from the most beautiful part!
