Three bales for the Australian Magpie family – they do well for themselves

Another peaceful session where Lil Sis doesn't get pecked – good news. I don't want to jump the gun but it's been a while since I've seen her get attacked by a parent... Plenty of insects and I'm pretty sure termites are also on the menu. The bales being turned over were behind a big pile of bales and I think Mum spent a lot of time on top of the pile keeping watch to prevent surprise attacks. She was up there for quite a while.
