On Tuesday, a Qatari and Saudi tanker were struck by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz. Qatar accused Iran. US CENTCOM responded by striking around 80 Iranian targets. Iranian state media reported eight military casualties. Simultaneously, the US Treasury reimposed sanctions less than three weeks after the Memorandum of Understanding deal was signed. Iran's IRGC responded overnight, targeting 85 US military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait. Is anything to be gained from a return to war?
