Dear Mom…

Dear Mom, Thank you. I know that’s such a small phrase for everything you gave me, but it’s the only place I know to start. Thank you for giving me the strength to keep going when I feel like giving up. Thank you for teaching me that love always prevails over hatred. But it’s hard to thank someone who’s no longer alive. It’s been over a decade without you… And even though life hasn’t been the easiest lately, I’ll keep trying my best for you and for our family.
