Is it worth riding an E-bike at the Gorge, Nelson NZ?

My last visit to the Gorge in Nelson NZ resulting in my E bike dying. On this trip the plan is to not shuttle but to ride my KTM Prowler E bike around the top 1/3 of the bike park, as that is where most of the trails are. Will this work or should I just shuttle?
