He is a true pou within the community of Waitara, someone who’s always putting others first, deeply involved in the Waitara Bar Boardriders Club, and a huge contributor across a number of community initiatives. He’s also spent many years giving back through sport — from surfing, to his long‑standing involvement with the Waitara Bears, and supporting kaupapa Māori surfing right here in Taranaki.
