Description
Lava was seen spewing out of Kilauea Volcano on Tuesday (November 25) after one of the world’s most active volcanoes erupted again in Hawaii.
Footage provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) showed sustained lava fountains at approximately 400 feet (120 meters), as ash and smoke spewed into the air.
According to the USGS, this is the 37th time Kilauea has erupted since December 2024.
USGS added that all eruptive activity would be confined to Halemaʻumaʻu crater within Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, with commercial airports in Hawaii County (KOA and ITO) unaffected by the eruption activity.
