3D Printed Prototype Parts Retro fitting ABS to a 40+ year old vehicle comes with its challenges. Being able to fit, test & visually gauge a new part greatly speeds up the process and allows for accurate measuring & checking of tolerances. In HPA’s case, the FJ40 is getting a brake upgrade including ABS, Audi Callipers including an electronic parking brake & a custom dust cover. After modelling the proposed parts in CAD, they were 3D Printed and fitted to the rear hub.
