If you've never heard of Homander before, don't worry because neither did I. Homander is a meme created by AidenTyrellWashingon after someone drew a cursed version of Homelander on a school worksheet as a response to breaking Emma's toy... and then somehow the meme kept growing from there. It was honestly a pretty funny rabbit hole to discover, and seeing it become an FNF mod was a nice surprise. The mod follows the familiar emotional Aethos formula while putting its own spin on the concept with Homander and Emma. Even though the project isn't fully finished yet, there's already a lot to like here. According to the creators, the mod had been in development for a long time and was originally supposed to receive completely remade sprites for both Homander and Emma. Only Emma's redesign was finished before development ran into issues with Adobe Animate, so they decided to release the mod in its current state instead of making everyone wait even longer. They still hope to come back and fully realize ToyBreaker in a future update. Even unfinished, I think this is a really cool find. The Homander meme is so random that I never expected to see it turned into an Aethos mod, but somehow it works. The song is enjoyable, the lyric cutscene is a nice touch and it's always fun seeing the FNF community turn obscure internet memes into surprisingly high quality mods. Hopefully the team gets the chance to finish their original vision because ToyBreaker already has a lot of potential and I'd definitely love to see a fully completed version someday.
