His Majesty The King hosts a Youth Opportunity Summit at Buckingham Palace, joined by King’s Trust Goodwill Ambassador Sir Gareth Southgate, young people, mentors and youth organisations. The event formally launches a new King’s Trust initiative with Sir Gareth Southgate, creating a nationwide network of mentors, coaches, courses and resources to help young people build confidence, skills and experience for work. The summit also marks The King’s Trust’s 50th anniversary, celebrating more than 1.3 million young people supported since its founding in 1976.
