Who is Cyclops aka Scott Summers? Get to know the first X-Man and leader of the X-Men Super Hero team. Scott is a mutant born with an X-Gene that gives him the ability to shoot powerful optic blasts from his eyes. Scott was discovered by Professor X aka Charles Xavier and brought to his School for Gifted Youngsters where he took on the codename Cyclops. Here he found his family amongst X-Men like Beast, Storm, Wolverine, his brother Havok, and his longtime love Jean Grey aka Phoenix. Cyclops holds the team together whether he's leading the team through Danger Room training drills, piloting the Blackbird jet, or going up against villains like Magneto.
