Irresponsible Breeding Leaves 4 Golden Retriever Puppies At Death’s Door W/ Parvovirus [STORY BELOW]

We are devastated to share that four innocent puppies, Wheaties, Chex, Cheerio, and Cap’n Crunch, are fighting for their lives after greedy breeders treated them as commodities, not caring whether they lived or not. These angels should be growing up slow, tumbling around with their littermates, and being taught the ways of the world by their mom. Instead, they are suffering. They are having trouble keeping food down, they are having horrific diarrhea and vomiting, and they feel weak and feverish. Two of them are on critical IV support, and nurses have been advised not to let them out of their sight lest their vitals drop. The other two are only timidly wagging their tails at times when they would have otherwise felt full joy. We're furious at the people who took their spark away. FURIOUS. We don’t have much information on how they were acquired by the local shelter, but we can say for certain that any golden retriever didn’t just appear out of thin air on the streets. These pups were bred with the intention to be sold for a profit, and their breeders didn’t care to protect them against a major, life-threatening disease such as Parvo. Their breeder, likely trying to pad their own pockets even more, probably cut costs by reducing safety measures and essential puppy care, and as a result, left the door wide open for this vicious disease. Parvo kills puppies. It would have claimed their lives had rescuers not stepped in at the exact right moment. We’ve got a foster for these angels once they are out of urgent care, but we need all hands on deck. We need funds for their extensive medical care ASAP. We cannot do this alone.
