Big Thunder Mountain Railroad front seat on-ride 4K POV Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom

After an 18-month refurbishment shutdown, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopened on May 3, 2026, featuring new track, an updated opening scene, Rainbow Caverns, and Audio-Animatronics. Most importantly, the ride height limit was lowered from 40 inches (1.02 m) to 38 inches (97 cm). Did you know that although this coaster is almost a mirror image of the Disneyland version, each was built by a different manufacturer? The one in Anaheim, California, was built by Arrow Dynamics, whereas this one (as well as those in Paris & Tokyo) is a custom Vekoma mine train coaster.
