Magpies come for bales; Dad scores the best bale of the day – Australian birds

Mum and Dad show for bales. She resented being told she looked rough. Dad hocks up a pellet at 2:05. He gets told off for something at 2:35 but I'm not sure why. Some pretty ordinary bales before ending on a good one – comparatively, at any rate. A fun little visit. I also had a bit of fun with the thumb image as Dad was looking VERY serious in that shot. Dad can be optimistic come the end of a visit. He's usually keen to keep eating unless there has been a massive feast of roaches. Good think I thought of those manure bales – that hay and manure from the chookhouse floor has broken down beautifully. I need to get the bananas sorted, use the mulch and get another batch in there.
