Is the US Congress debating an enabling act?

In a recent video, I mentioned the enabling act of March 1933 which handed the German government absolute power. Some of you suggested that the recent One Big Beautiful Bill working its way through the US Congress gives the US government the same kind of unlimited power. So... how do these two pieces of legislation actually compare?
