Certificates were handed over to beneficiaries in various subdivisions, blocks, and district headquarters. In Berhampore Municipality, the program was launched in the presence of District Magistrate Rajarshi Arjun, Berhampore MLA Subrata Maitra, and other district administrative officials. According to the District Magistrate, approximately 2,28,448 people in Murshidabad district are expected to benefit from the Annapurna Yojana. The Berhampore MLA stated that, as a symbolic gesture, certificates were distributed to 50 beneficiaries during the event. Under the scheme, eligible women will receive ₹3,000 each. At the Kandi SDO Office, around 100 beneficiaries were also handed their Annapurna Bhandar certificates. Women expressed their happiness at receiving the benefits under the scheme.
