Humble Hummingbird Hawkmoth Hovering around False Dragonhead Flowers to Sip Nectar

A humble hummingbird hawkmoth (Macroglossum bombylans, family Sphingidae) buzzing around pink flowers of obedient plant (aka false dragonhead; Physostegia virginiana, family Lamiaceae) in the roadside flowerbed to feed on nectar with its proboscis. The nonstop wingbeats in hovering were shown in 50% slow-motion, followed by the original 1x footage. Captured in the sunny early-afternoon (around 13:10 PM) of mid-October 2024 in Japan.
