New Koenigsegg SADAIR'S SPEAR! First Look at the Jesko SS

This is the brand new KOENIGSEGG SADAIR'S SPEAR! Join me for a first look with Christian von Koenigsegg at what as been described as the 'Jesko SS'. Limited to just 30 cars, we're at the Gripen Atelier in Angelholm, Sweden to check it out. Koenigsegg bending physics again! Sadair's Spear is based on the Jesko platform, itself named back in 2019 for the 80th birthday of Christian's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. Jesko was an amateur jockey and his final and most powerful horse in 1976 was Sadair's Spear, hence not only the name but the '76 Brown' paint choice accompanied by the lime green and white of his racing colours. The car itself dials up the engine by a further 20hp on 95 (1,300hp total) and 25hp on E85 to 1,625hp, with 1,500Nm of torque. The 9spd Light Speed Transmission continues through, this time controlled from the column mounted paddles, but the big story comes down to all the incremental changes found throughout. With a new tyre compound from Michelin for Cup 2 and Cup 2 R tyres options, downforce could be pushed even further, increasing by 20% thanks to new dive planes, air dam effect through the nose, a larger dual-plane wing, and extensive changes all over.
