“Our desires aren’t too strong—they’re too weak.”

Jesus doesn’t shame us for how we’ve seen or misunderstood sex.⁠ He repaints the picture. Not with rules first—but with a new heart. He doesn’t say, “Fix your desires and then come to Me.”⁠ He says, “Come as you are—and I’ll show you something more beautiful.”⁠ Because the problem isn’t desire.⁠ It’s where we aim our desire.⁠ Like C.S. Lewis said: “Our desires aren’t too strong—they’re too weak.” Jesus invites us into a love that isn’t just physical—but deeply sacred.⁠ A love that transforms us.⁠ Not from the outside in, but from the heart out.⁠
