My husband is a hero. You know how many people he called to let them know everything he’s done for his Mother? Zero. He’s that kind of hero. So let me tell you what he did. He did it all. Nighttime phone calls. Hospitals. Doctors. Clinics. Wiping up blood. Broken hips. Physio. Seeing her EVERY SINGLE DAY. Taking her out. London. Cardiff. Bringing her home. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Seven Days a week. Got her lunch every day. Did her shopping 3x a week. Wanna know how many holidays he went on? ZERO. Anytime we had to go away, she came with us. He fed her. Cared for her. Loved her. Cleaned her. Talked to her when his heart was breaking. Held her hand while she cried. He did it all. ALONE. With no help. He kept a promise to his Father. To look after his Mother.
