Description
A thirsty Jungle Crow (aka large-billed crow; Corvus macrorhynchos, family Corvidae) feeding on the frozen surface of the snow field. And then it walked close to the den entrance of the Japanese raccoon dogs (Nyctereutes viverrinus, family Canidae) to curiously peek inside. After that, the jungle crow ate the snow again beside the entrance. Eventually, the bird flew off. Captured with my new trailcam in the sunny early-morning (around 7:10 AM) of mid-March 2025 in Japan. It was 4 degrees Celsius.
